This panel discussed the causes of precarious housing, including homelessness and hidden homelessness, among migrant communities and the housing supports they receive from community and municipal agencies. Insights from the local research, service, and policy initiatives in the Toronto region were complemented with a case study of homelessness among newcomer youth in Finland. The panel was moderated by Tracy Heffernan, Program Director at the Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario.
